Energy efficient
- We combine fusion-welding, heavy-duty weatherstripping and insulated glass
to create a tight, energy-efficient sliding patio door.
- Optional vacuum-deposition Low-E glass, filled with argon gas gives center
of glass R-value of 4.2 and offers protection from the sun's damaging
ultraviolet rays.
Security
- Unique three-point locking system offers more resistance to forced entry
than sliding patio doors with a single lock.
- Our unique three-point locking system utilizes a single-point handle to
engage tempered-steel rods to lock the door at the head and the sill, and an
L-shaped hook at the door's jamb.
Maintenance freedom
- Extra thick vinyl has color that's solid throughout... No painting,
scraping or cauking--ever.
- Solid decorator grids are within the insulated glass unit so glass
cleaning is easier.
Durability
- Tank-type roller system makes the door easy to slide. The roller system
spreads the door's weight over many rollers at once-- eliminating the flat
spots that can develop with conventional rollers.
- A heavy-duty fiberglass-reinforced Lexan®
sill is standard on our sliding patio door. It offers superior strength and
resists frost and condensation.
- Door panels are fusion-welded for added strength. They will never work
loose or require maintenance, and are warranted for their durability.
